Bears in a Snowstorm Cardigan for Bruce (formerly, Yellowstone Bears)

The sweater is knitted back and forth on Addi Turbo size 6 circular needles with Caron Simply Soft yarn.  I am using the "knitting backward" technique and like it for this type of work.  The chart used for this part of the self-designed sweater is from Ann Feitelson's book, The Art of Fair Isle Knitting.  The chart was presented there for the women's pattern, the Baltasound Cropped Junper. Bruce renamed the sweater.  So far, no bears, only snowstorm!

Finished Shawnee Parkway Cardigan Sweater

The Shawnee Parkway self-designed knitted cardigan sweater is finally completed. The sweater is for sized for myself, since no one else in the family wanted it.t

Here is a view of the inside of the neck showing the finishing.

And, here are a couple of photos of the back.

The sweater design, in case you missed it, shows flying bird borders in slip stitch/Fair Isle combination, maple leaves in Fair Isle/Intarsia combination, green raindrops at the top, and a Fair isle wide facing closed with pewter clasps.  The yarn is Caron Simply Soft and it was knitted with size 5, 4, and 3 needles.
